GLIDE, Ore. — Douglas County police are still looking for 50-year-old Mike Mallory, who has been missing for nine days. The owner of "Gotta Hava Java" coffee stands left his home in Glide for work as usual last Monday morning. Someone later found his pickup over an embankment along Little River Road. The truck had struck a tree, but there was no sign of Mallory. Search crews covered four miles of Little River downstream to the North Umpqua but did not find him. Mallory was due in court Monday at a hearing regarding a lawsuit between he and his parents regarding the coffee business. His wife says she does not know where he is.
