A: Kramer is best known as Dee Dee McCall, the partner of Fred Dryer's detective in the Hunter TV series from 1984 to 1990 and again in TV movies and a brief series revival in 2003. More recently, she was seen in 2006's The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold. But judging from her website (www.stepfaniekramer.com), she has been focusing more on her singing, as well as writing short stories and a screenplay. You can purchase a couple of her CDs through her website. Q:Is Adam Beach a Native American? We watched Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and also watched Comanche Moon and he refers to Indian spirits. Plus his language in Comanche Moon seemed very easy for him. A: Born in Canada, Beach is of the Salteaux nation of ``native persons.'' His credits include Chester Lake on SVU and Blue Duck in Comanche Moon, as well as Charles Eastman in Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and Ira Hayes in Flags of Our Fathers. Q: What has happened to Ben Affleck? We have not seen him in a long time. A: In 2007, Affleck made his big-screen debut as a director with the well-received Gone Baby Gone, which he also co-wrote, based on Dennis Lehane's novel. After the Academy Awards he made a memorable appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show, including as co-star of a music video declaring that he and Kimmel were having a physical relationship. (I can't print the title here.) That video was an answer to one done by Kimmel's girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, in which she claimed a similar connection to Matt Damon. (Yes, Damon was in that video.) Affleck is expected back on movie screens later this year in He's Just Not That Into You, and has been working recently on State of Play, a movie based on a fine British miniseries.
