Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Barron Hilton LOS ANGELES Paris Hilton's younger brother Barron Hilton pleaded no contest Wednesday to charges of driving under the influence, CelebTV.com reported. The 18-year-old, who did not appear in court, was charged with four misdemeanor counts stemming from his Feb. 12 arrest on suspicion of drunken driving. His charges include driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and being an unlicensed driver. CelebTV.com reported Hilton will be on three years' probation, lose his driving privileges for one year and have to visit the Los Angeles County morgue, as well as go to a Mothers Against Drunk Driving lecture. The teen's attorney, Rich Hutton, entered the plea on Hilton's behalf. Hilton was not required to appear in court. Hilton was stopped Feb. 12 after a witness reported seeing a black Mercedes-Benz weaving on Pacific Coast Highway, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. He was also allegedly carrying a fake driver's license. He was booked at the Malibu station and registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent — .08 is the rate at which a driver is legally intoxicated in California. Hilton was freed on $20,000 bond. Paris Hilton pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving last year, and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. She served a little more than two weeks.
