Lang at Tibet rally

Canadian singer k.d. lang will attend a rally in Canberra in support of pro-Tibet activists at the same time the troubled Olympic torch relay makes its way through the capital.

Lang will attend the Australia Tibet Council's rally, aimed at highlighting human rights abuses in Tibet.

The singer, who is also a Buddhist, has travelled from Melbourne where she is performing.
